The only downside is that they're very heavy and it's difficult to lift them up when you're carrying a child in the car seat.

Easy to Assemble

Certain car seat and stroller combinations can be difficult to assemble. The UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo is one of the most simple travel systems to put together. It comes with a helpful guide. Other models we tried like the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule Urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal, were also fairly easy to put together. In contrast the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to put together because it requires two steps to assemble - attaching the lower anchors and using straps to cover the bottom portion of the carrier. It's also heavy, and it takes two hands to snap the carrier into the base and then remove it from the base.

In our tests, we took about 5 minutes to put together the UPPAbaby Cruz. This is a relatively quick process when you take into account the time saved by not having to take out all the pieces. The majority of these models come with an easy process for attaching and detaching the toddler seat, as well.
