WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item Level upgrade by 3. Each upgrade also increases a random substat.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item upgrader kit has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like eth Titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the need to roll to get a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade the item is discarded and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be used to create the enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities and can be accessed anytime to upgrade your equipment. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader every few weeks to keep your equipment up-to-date.

Upgrades can cost more based on the level of the item, however they'll always be cheaper than purchasing new equipment. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest to the level of ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. Buying a similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used for weapon, armor, tool, and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased through NPCs who sell upgrades to item owners in a variety of currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased it can be used on any weapon, tool, or armor using an button, which displays an image of the item at the next upgrade level in the event that the player has enough materials.

Upgrade costs differ based on the slot for the item and the current item level. For example weapons are more expensive than gloves, bracers, or bracers. Each step costs 15 Flightstones plus a specific number of crests. Certain upgrades provide discounts on Flightstones. Crests

This allows players to upgrade their equipment to the highest level possible for all their characters rather than relying on seasonal loot.

Another important change is that crests have one purpose therefore it's essential to use them wisely. It is recommended to put your Whelpling-rank Crests on the highest-quality gear that you can find, and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests to be used for the next set of upgrades. This is especially applicable to items like rings and trinkets that occupy several slots. The discount for the entire account will only apply when all slots on the character are filled with top-quality equipment.
