The Joie Roomie Glide

The Joie Roomie Glide crib is a bedside rocking crib crib which allows parents to sleep with their baby while ensuring that they are safe to sleep. Its smooth gliding motion will help to ease your baby's sleep, and its innovative features allow you to keep an eye on your baby without leaving the bed.

The cot's slide-away side panel lifts and lowers with the touch of the button, making it a breeze to reach inside and soothe a crying infant in the night. It also comes with 11 height adjustments that let it accommodate the mattress of nearly any size bed. It also comes with adjustable feet that fold down to ensure that it's placed at just the right height.

The cot is cushioned, has mesh sides that allow for more the airflow, and the mattress is made from high-density foam for added protection. It is also wipeable, so you can keep the cot clean. It comes with a fitted bed sheet that is suitable for a crib.

Unlike some other bedside cribs, the Roomie Glide is suitable for the majority of beds, including divans thanks to its straps and clip attachment. It can also be used as a stand-alone crib if it is not attached to your bed, and it's packed with features that were designed with parent-baby bonding in mind.

One thing to keep in mind is that while this crib is perfect for infants, it will not last long once your child is six months old, which means you will require an additional cot. But, in general Roanna found that the Joie Roomie Glide was a very good purchase and she particularly liked its sleek design.

John Lewis sells the Roomie Glide for PS160. Roanna thought this was a reasonable price for such an item. She liked the way it was positioned in her bedroom and thought its grey color would fit the majority of modern homes. She did point out that it's not an ideal idea to rock a baby in the early years because it can create an unfavourable sleep pattern for later.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee

The Tutti Bambini CoZee is an award-winning small bedside cot crib that was designed to ensure a peaceful night's sleep in mind. It has an adjustable side rail that can be easily lowered to feed your child during the night without disturbing them or forcing them out of the bed. This is perfect for mothers who breastfeed! It's also lightweight and easy to move around during naps or when traveling.

It's made of soft material and has mesh sides that breathe to increase airflow. It's available in oak and charcoal and comes with a variety of melange fabric options that blend well with most decor styles. Anna found that it was solid and secure when it was attached to her bed. The legs snapped into place and the zippers were secured to ensure security. It took Anna about 10 minutes to put together and did not require any tools. There are clear instructions along with a video and customer support number in case you encounter any issues.

The CoZee crib is equipped with all the features you would expect from a crib to your bedside crib and travel cot, including the ability to connect it to your existing bed with a stay-in-place connection system. It also has six height settings. Additionally there is an inclined feature that can be used to aid babies suffering from reflux or congestion. It is also machine-washable essential for all the spills and snot that come with a newborn baby!

The CoZee is an excellent choice for keeping your child close during the first six months of learning to fall asleep independently. It can be used as a crib, changing station or toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa bed extension pack, it can transform into an actual cot. Although it can't magically make your baby sleep or feed them, it can rock them and send them off.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic

This is one of the more expensive options, but it comes with a lot of features. It can be used as either a side-sleeper or a standalone crib and is suitable for infants from birth to six months. It's easy to open and close the side panel using the new mechanism. It's also more flexible than the previous model, with 11 different height settings and retractable legs for a secure place under any bed.

Our testers were impressed by the ease of access provided by the side panel that can be moved up and down with a single push of a switch. This was especially helpful during nighttime feedings as they could reach inside and pick up their baby without waking them.

The side panel can be lowered by itself, too however it isn't recommended as this increases the risk of your child falling out of the cot. The patented safety locking system makes sure that the side panel will remain in place when it is properly attached to the parent's mattress. This feature is great to have peace of mind when you breastfeed and require frequent night feeds.

Telescopic legs enable the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, such as divan bases and beds with drawers. It has a tilting feature for babies with reflux, as well as a rocking function to help soothe them to sleep after eating. It's also incredibly spacious and provides excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.

Our test subjects found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, though it does have quite lengthy instructions. It's a bit heavier than other side-sleepers, but it's quite portable and can be moved from room room easily. It's also foldable into a bag for travel, which is great when you need to transport it. The only issue our testers found was that the side panel did not flex as much as some of the other models, which made it slightly harder to observe your child from your own bed.

If you're looking for a bedside crib that will expand with your child then the Shnuggle Air is definitely worth looking into. It's a crib for co-sleeping that attaches securely to your bed and can be transformed into a stylish cot once your baby is old enough. It is ideal for feeding your baby at night and enhancing the bond between you and your new born.

The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, which is different from other cribs. Its dual-view mesh sides as well as breathable, hypo-allergenic airflow mattress maximize airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable. A gentle incline option helps to reduce colic and reflux, while the zip down side allows you to feed or comfort your baby at night.

The kit for conversion to cot (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear directions and everything you need to start. It took us about an hour to put together and was relatively simple. The only downside to the instructions was that a few images did not have captions. This made it difficult for us to follow the instructions. Overall, the procedure was simple and the materials used were of high quality.

The Shnuggle Air is a great choice for mothers who are breastfeeding or have had C-sections. It allows them to reach out and touch their baby to comfort them and feeding without having to leave their bed. It's also great for mothers who want to avoid the hassle of getting into and out of a traditional cot or placing their baby down to sleep.

The gliding motion was found to be very helpful in lulling babies to sleep following feedings during the midday or at night. The drop-down side makes it easy to feed or soothe babies during the night. This was a big selling point for our tired test mums. Although it doesn't rock, or come with extra features, like an audio system the Joie Roomie Glide's elegant design and practicality are a welcome addition to our best bedside crib reviews.
