What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The item upgrader adds a brand new widget to the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. This Manager costs 33 billion Angel Investors and offers no gameplay benefit aside from making it easier to find and purchase upgrades.

Boosts

The amount of extras gained with an upgrade depends on the amount of upgrades completed. Each upgrade will increase the number of extras by three points maximum. Additionally, each upgrade will also increase the stat that is used to determine the main one by 1.

In addition to the stat increase, some upgrades will also provide a random boost. These boosts can be quite valuable and should be considered when deciding what items to upgrade. Some of these boosts are beneficial in certain builds (such as Whistan's shield in FB sorcs) while others can provide significant value to specific collectors.

Certain items come with inherent boo, which is not effective when upgraded, for example the Goldwrap which gives more slots for potion. These are usually upgraded to add value to a close-to-perfect or perfect item.

Costs

Upgrades are accompanied by certain costs associated with them. The first is the cost of performing the upgrade. This price is contingent on the item's new ilvl and the amount of perks it gains and is often expensive. Upgrades to a higher level (such as Explorer to Champion or Veteran to Heroic) can be expensive.

The second is the cost of the items needed to upgrade. The items used are usually either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21+) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable by completing certain Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). These items can be found in the inventory of an Upgrade Vendor.

It takes time to upgrade an item. Based on the magnitude of the upgrade, it could take up to 8 hours. The base stats of the upgraded item are calculated based on its new ilvl and other properties. This calculation determines new Armor Class bonuses, damage dice, as well as other important statistics. In some instances the upgrade will provide additional advantages that can be picked from a list of available benefits.

In rare cases, the upgrade will replace only the most expensive perks. Success Rate

It's similar to the "luck bonus" that certain items provide, but it is more solid. It can be added to any weapon or armor, and can be used up to three times.

You can also add additional materials to the upgrade to increase its chances of success. The materials are displayed in a window above the + button. There are a few limitations. The maximum amount of material you can upload is shown directly above the + button.

Another method to increase the odds of a successful upgrade is by using an item known as Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item is useful when you own an item of equipment that is at the maximum level for its tier or is close to it. This item lets you upgrade the equipment to the next level without the risk of breaking.

If an upgrade fails, the system will be returned to its original condition. This is usually a break, but could also be an upgrade. Save an upgrade until you're close to the maximum level for an item upgrader mod.

Kafra has a range of items that can be used to increase the likelihood of an upgrade being successful. You can increase your chances of success by upgrading equipment repeatedly using HD Oridecon and HD Elunium. The success rate will also be increased if you can increase the chance of getting a Double Mint by Shoe-Minting five times.

Failure Rate

The upgrader for items allows players to add a second card slot into their equipment. These slots can be utilized to upgrade an item or apply an enchantment.
