Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrading gear increases its base stats, and sometimes increases its other features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations used.

The racial Shield elite Razortail for instance, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capability in PvP or provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to buy a new item, like a weapon, armor or ring. The item is swapped for a different one similar one, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they do not retain the level of the original item and any resources that are wasted aren't refunded.

Survivors can obtain tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests or buy them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of an item, for example increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage that melee and weapons and spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To create them, you'll need an upgrade level token to reroll. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item upgrading and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next Success result is to be rerolled. This helps you avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they show an explanation and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.

During an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to chosen Franchise Cards. This alters the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones which increase the level of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. These stones can also be obtained by players who complete daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed showing the item's current level and what it will be when being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. When the requirements are satisfied, the user can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item upgrading.

The upgrade process is completely risk-free and does not affect the item's durability. This makes the system an excellent method for players to get an advantage in combat without putting a strain on their accounts. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded piece of gear onto the new gear.

The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for novice players. However, there are numerous ways to obtain these stones, such as signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an optional feature that lets players increase the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It is accomplished by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will receive an upgrade to a higher level. The process will continue until the item is at its highest level.

Items that have upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be applied to more than one item at once. Each upgrade component also requires a certain number of items, as well as a minimum equipment level.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, previews show what the gear looks like at its next level. Once a player has enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time it is upgraded the base stats of the item will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item upgrader kit is 19.

Once an item level upgrade reaches its maximum level, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. Once a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to provide an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is being used. They can be bought through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped by acquiring new ones. However, this can ruin the previous upgrade.

Requirements

Upgrades to items allow players to increase certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the kind of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This gives them more effects or an improved item level. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component has been placed into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components have additional modifiers that can enhance the stats of the item.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. The dps "Wildfire" on the other hand increases damage from weapons.

Some items are better off being upgraded not so much for their improved stats and more for the fact that it lets players get the most value out of a perfect roll on the item. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.

When you select an upgrade component to slot into an item, the game will display an open window that displays the required requirements. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

Once you've met the required requirements for upgrading The game will then place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will change to show how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an Best Item upgrade upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
