When looking for a light double stroller the weight and size are key factors to consider. When not in use, choose a stroller that is easy to handle and small in size. This will allow it to store in your car trunk, and also to navigate through airport gates and foreign roads.

Kolcraft Cloud Plus

Created for families on the go. Lightweight, with a simple one-hand compact fold. All-terrain wheels, front suspension and multi-position reclining seat will accommodate children as heavy as 50 pounds. Trays for parents and children, large storage basket and three-tier canopy with windows that peek out to maximize sun protection.

The Cloud was awarded one of the lowest marks in our quality tests because it has a flimsy, hard plastic seat and a style that appears outdated. It's also expensive compared to other strollers that are lighter which is why it's not the best option if you're looking for a budget alternative.

Although it's not the lightest double stroller, it has enough features that are worth a look. Its swiveling wheels make it easy for you to navigate it on flat surfaces. It also allows you to jump curbs with ease. The Cloud's low, knee-high handle is a drawback. It's not adjustable, and it's not adjustable. It's not a comfortable thing to push it with your legs hanging in the air like that, and it doesn't help that it's not cushioned.

During our tests during our testing, we discovered the Cloud to be easy to open and set up. It's a little more challenging to close the cloud, however. You must slide a slider, and then push a large white button for it to collapse. It can be quite frustrating, especially if you're juggling kids while doing it.

The Cloud comes with a small, but deep storage basket. It's big enough to fit an enormous diaper bag. The basket is small and you might have to store something inside to reach the back. The Cloud has a child and parent tray with two cup holders, but they're too narrow to hold larger cups or bottles.

The Kolcraft brand has been in existence since 1946 and is a third-generation family-owned business. Their first products were diapers and crib pads however, they now make a wide range of baby products, including highchairs, strollers for infants, car seats and toys. The company is based in Chicago, and is an American manufacturer.

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS

Jeep Destination Ultralight is a lightweight double stroller with a minimalist design, which is ideal for travel. It weighs only 18lbs, which is lighter than other single strollers. and folds flat for easy transport and storage. It also has independently reclining seats as well as large SPF 50 sunvisors with peekaboo window. The visors can be adjusted to accommodate children of different heights. It also features a one-step linked parking brake and is Disney-sized approved.

The swivel wheel of the Jeep is also great for navigating over bumps and uneven terrain. This stroller is not compatible with car seats. Your child must be at minimum six months old and possess an excellent neck control in order to use the front seat. It does come with an attractive, three-panel sun canopy, however and each seat comes with its own snack tray and parent cupholders.

Another extremely light side-by-side stroller is Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend. It's heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus, at 23 lbs. However, it's smaller and thinner (26.5 inches wide!) It has a lot of exquisite details that make it perfect for travel. It's a simple fold, is very movable and can be tucked away in airplane overhead compartments and trunks easily.

Similar to the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double and Mountain Buggy Nano Duo, the Joovy Kooper X2 is another tri-fold ultralight double stroller. It's similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS but has a few key distinctions. It's a bit more expensive but offers a more shady sun canopy and more maneuverability. It also comes with a handy carry strap that can hold children up to 44 pounds per seat.

Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+

If you're looking for a stroller that is light in weight but also packed with features look no further than Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It is not only incredibly lightweight at just 13 lbs but also has a lot of storage space, including cupholders for both parents and children as well as a sippy-cup pouch for children, a parent's storage pocket, etc. It can also be used with the car seat of a child and has an easy-to-engage brake that flips. This stroller is designed to expand as your child grows. It can be transformed from a baby stroller to a toddler stroller simply by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separate) and is suitable for children 6 months and up.

This stroller has only swivel-wheels and no locking feature and therefore may not be the best choice for rocky or steep terrain. It's still a good option for most families, as it is easy to maneuver on pavements and other smooth surfaces.

This stroller is among the lightest double strollers that has full-size features in a sleek compact design. The quick-close feature lets the stroller to fold with just one hand and it's compact enough to be easily stored in your trunk or garage. It can also be used as a stoller for travel and is compatible with no additional adapters to most car seats.

The recline mechanism is simple to operate, but it doesn't go genuinely flat; taller kids might find they have an unbalanced leg when they sit in the reclined position. It also has a huge canopy that we found to be better at blocking out sun than some other options in our best double strollers review.

The stroller is light enough to easily navigate through door frames, which was a big issue for us with some other models in our testing. It is easy to fold and the handlebars are close to the ground. The only downside is its small storage space. When it's full of toys for kids, it feels tight.
