2. Folding is simple

The tri-fold is the newest stroller for travel. It folds in three pieces and provides the most compact combination of size and features. The UPPAbaby Miniu, as an instance, comes with the ability to flip the chair over with a storage pouch that is not structured in the rear, and a lockable latch that keeps it folded. It's slightly larger than the umbrellas of the brand but can be folded more compactly than G-Luxe and G-Link counterparts. It also comes with a padded shoulder strap.

If you're an avid traveler, we suggest you consider a more robust stroller that offers better features and is able to hold more cargo. The UPPAbaby Mini for instance, has many of its G-Luxe or G-Link siblings with features, but it is smaller and folds much faster. It's also a bit more durable than an umbrella stroller and it has a padded carrying strap to take some of the burden off your shoulders.

4. Comfortable

Strollers are often used for long periods of time while traveling, and it is essential to be comfortable. Choose a seat with ample padding and a recline feature that allows you to position it at multiple angles. Note if the canopy extends for sun protection and if the mesh windows promote airflow. Look for a model with a parent organizer/cupholder and an ample basket under the seat, if you have to carry things with you.
