Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide

Item upgrading is a key element to maximize the power of your gear. It allows you to add bonus stats onto the value of your item's base level.

Each upgrade template comes with a set of options which can be set up by using the edition GUI. These options include the upgrade reference and the possibility of upgrading.

Upgrade components

As part of the 2.0 update, the system for upgrading the armor and weapons in Cyberpunk has been reworked. Upgrade components are scattered across Night City. The item you want to upgrade must also have an upgrade slot. The game will display a preview of the expected stats for the item level upgrade after upgrading.
