Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

An upgrade item is an item that will make certain Pokemon develop. The Upgrade can be obtained by spinning a photo disc and can be offered as a reward in Pokemon GO events.

Upgrades can be applied to armors, weapons trinkets, weapons, as well as gathering tools in order to increase the level of their item. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests based on the kind of item upgrader kit.

Upgrade components

A variety of upgrade components are available, each of which offers a different bonus. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions, can be used on any kind of equipment, and offer less bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions can be utilized on non-amulet and legendary ascended items, and enrichments are able to be used on ascended back equipment. The majority of upgrade components can be replaced if they are inserted into an item upgrader kit, however doing so will destroy the previous upgrade. There are exceptions for glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and enchantments, which can be removed and reinserted freely.

Insignias, enchantments, and prefix/suffix upgrades will be displayed in the hover display of the item upgrader mod while they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. the word Radiant Insignia could change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrades that are added to an item will be displayed in the item upgrader's tooltip.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements such as ligatures, ornaments, fractions, swashes, registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel allows you to see and insert these particular characters as well as regular glyphs like em dashes and en dashes registered trademark symbols, as well as characters that are not found in other fonts (such as dingbats).

Each Glyph gives a character a boost in primary stats. The glyph may also include up to four secondary stats that will affect its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a %-increase which is multiplied once other bonuses have been applied except for Speed Glyphs which directly increase the hero's speed.

The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them, and then clicking the "enchant" button. This will bring up a window that displays the Glyphs available to you. You can only apply the correct Glyph to the item you have selected. Each weapon, jewelry, or armor piece comes with a distinct collection of Glyphs.

You can upgrade your Glyphs by finishing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more difficult the area is, the greater Glyph experience you'll gain. Once a Glyph has reached level 15, it can be upgraded on the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The radius of the Paragon Board grows by one node for each 15 levels that a Glyph is upgraded.

After a Glyph reaches the desired level, you can activate it. Select it and click the "enchant button". The Glyph you create will provide its stated benefit, and increase the number of nodes within its range on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should go where they will benefit your build the most. This is why you should prioritise Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Some glyphs, however, could offer double bonuses in the event that certain conditions are satisfied, so they're worth looking out for.

Click the cycle widget to change the perspective of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views shows the Glyphs in a different font. You can narrow down the selection of glyphs by selecting an option under "Entire Font". For example, punctuation only displays punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols restricts the choices to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling is a process in which you open a new account to give yourself more chances to access an item or character you are interested in. It can be done to level up faster, or to obtain better loot such as a new weapon for your character. Many players will reroll until they have the characters that they like, regardless of their power. This can be because they like the character's design or their personality.

You must ensure that you make clean changes every time you roll back. You should test locally whether the patch is approved by pre-commit and run a core dev test. It is also recommended to upload the patch to an issue with a plain diff (see What is an interdiff? ).

Rerolls can take a few days or weeks depending on how fortunate you are. To speed up the process be sure to avoid the enemy camps which are not mandatory during this period. You should also avoid re-doing quests that you can complete later on in the game. This can help you save time and energy.

Another important consideration when rerolling is to make sure you are aware of the upgrade system. There are several ways to enhance your character's power and appearance. Upgrades, rerolling characters and upgrading weapons are all options. Additionally, it is important to know the limitations of the upgrade system.

Rerolling is not a necessary element of the game but it can be useful to increase your chances of obtaining the right weapon or character. You can use it to determine the best character or to test different builds and playstyles.

Sets

A set is an object collection with two common attributes (like the number or eggs in a dozen or the members of a group). Sets can be used to perform operations such as union, intersection and distinction.

Upgrades make a set item better than before. This means that weapons and armor will have a greater defense and lower requirements for strength.

Upgrades can bring popular items from single sets up to the same level as those in higher-tier sets. Upgrades such as Guillaume's Face Helm to the Elite Spired helmet could boost the defense from 217 up to 321 and lower the strength requirements and levels to an feasible range.

However it's important to remember that not all set items are candidates for upgrading. Certain sets, such as the FB Sorc spec Whistan's shield and Naj's puzzler staff are already exceptional in their own way and don't require upgrading. On the other hand, certain items that are BiS and are used frequently (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to increase their stats even more. It could be worthwhile to upgrade these items.
