The Iora is an infant bassinet designed to make parents feel more connected to their infant while they sleep. It adjusts up and down and moves through three slide positions to fit next to the bed of the parent, or in the corner of the room so that baby is always within arm's reach. The breathable mesh siding allows air to circulate through and gives you a quick glance at your little one. You can also keep extra pajamas or supplies in the large storage basket beneath.

This is a great choice for parents who want to sleep in a co-sleeping arrangement but do not wish to share their beds, or whose partners might be prone to mobility issues, such as back problems or arthritis. Our mum testers were thrilled to be able to easily access their baby in the Iora and that it included an option to have a reflux incline which helped to reduce gas.

Our mothers appreciate that the mattress follows NICE guidelines. These include placing the infant in a Moses basket or crib on its own, without blankets, toys, pillows etc. They also claim that the mattress is comfortable and firm for babies and is easy to find sheets for. It isn't as light as the other smaller bedside cribs, though, so if you want something lighter and easier to move around, look at other options on our list.
