Three Wheeled Buggies

Whether you're looking for a buggy jog with or just a nifty stroller to tackle the neighborhood, three-wheeled buggies provide great mobility. Their compact design makes it easy to maneuver, even in tight spots.

MFM reviewer Kath tested the buggy with a newborn and a 3 wheel stroller with infant car seat year old and found that it was able to handle cobbles, grass, rough roads, dirt tracks and kerbs. She said "it is sturdy to push and extremely solid when traversing difficult terrain. The tyres, which are inflatable and require to be pumped regularly, have built-in suspension. This was extremely comfortable for my kids.

The size and shape of the seat is a further factor to think about. The seat should be big enough to allow your child to be comfortable and allow them to lie down. Some three-wheel buggies offer an option to lie flat completely while others allow a parent facing one.

The Roma Atlas is a great option for off-road and wet walks. The double buggy 3 wheels can be used as a one-person unit from the beginning and can be modified to accommodate two children as your family grows. Wheels with a larger diameter

Larger wheels give your buggy more stability when driving over rough terrain. This is perfect for buggies that are off-road. They also allow you to maneuver the pushchair in tight spaces. Many three wheeled buggies feature swivel front wheels to help you navigate around corners with ease, whereas others are designed for running and have fixed front wheels that lock to increase the speed and stability with which they can be driven. This is also helpful if you bump into a tree root or stray kerb as the front wheel will rise up slightly to prevent you from hitting it.

Many 3 wheeled pushchairs have air-filled tyres that allow them to tackle a broad range of terrains. They are also more flexible than 4 wheelers. They're also lighter. They are prone to punctures, and you'll need to have repair kits and an spare inner tube on hand.

This is an issue when you're using it for a jogger or to maneuver through narrow doorways when out and about. Fortunately, the majority of models come with small folding options that allow you to remove the front wheels to create more compact storage.

Easy to Manoeuvre

A three-wheeler can be more maneuverable for a child. The way they are constructed means that the front wheels rotate at a whim and are incredibly easy to manoeuvre which makes them perfect for difficult terrain such as parks, cobbles or bumpy pavements, as well as dirt tracks.

MFM reviewer Kath tried a 3-wheeler with her toddler. she wrote: "The Terrain is a delight to navigate in rough terrain. The swivel wheel in the front was particularly useful." I was also awed by how well it dealt with kerbs using the hand-operated break. It was very stable for descending or on a rough terrain."

The only drawback to this amazing maneuverability is that the larger wheels of a 3 wheel pushchair cheap wheel buggy can sometimes make it difficult to fit into tight spaces. This is something to be aware of when you live in a city. If this is a problem then a four-wheeled buggy might be the better option for you.
