WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item upgrader kit by 3. A random additional substat is also added to each upgrade.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item upgrading has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like the eth Titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as important for the latter due to the requirement to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

They can be purchased by players from NPCs that sell upgrades to items in exchange for different currencies, and can also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor with an The button will display a preview of an item's next upgrade level, in the event that there are enough materials.

The cost of upgrades varies based on the item slot and the current Item Level upgrade level and the weapon's price is higher than gloves or bracers, for example.
