WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of the item by +3. A random substat is also added to every upgrade.

The more modernized gear generally has a more value in trade as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or a very high stat variance (like the eth titan weapons). These types of gear get less value from upgrading due to the need to roll to get a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of armor or weapon. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and can't be used again. Upgrades can be used to create the enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in every major city, and can be visited at any time to upgrade items your equipment. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader once every couple of weeks to ensure that your equipment is up-to-date.

Upgrades will cost more depending on the level of the Item level upgrade however they'll always be less expensive than purchasing new equipment. For instance, upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points while purchasing the same item from a different player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items which can be used to level up weapons and tools, armor and accessories. They can be purchased by players from NPCs who sell upgrades for items in exchange for various currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor. button, which will display an item's preview at its next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.

upgrade items costs vary depending on the slot for the item and the current item level. For example weapons cost more than gloves, bracers or bracers. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones plus a set number of crests. Some upgrades give discounts on Flightstones. Once an item upgrade has been upgraded to a certain amount, it can be degraded and returned to the upgrader for a lesser amount of the two currencies.
