Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

An upgrade item is a unique item that makes certain Pokemon develop. The Upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's photo disc and is sometimes offered as a reward during Pokemon GO events.

Upgrade components

Both are able to be removed and reinserted.

Insignias and enchantments will be displayed their names in the hover display of the Best item upgrade, while upgrades that have a suffix or prefix will add their name to the end of the name of the equipment (e.g. for example, a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will display the number of upgrades that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to add decorative and functional elements to an OpenType font. These include ligatures, fractions, or ornaments, as well as registered trademark symbols, ellipses, swashes and swashes. The Glyphs panel lets you see and insert these particular characters, as well as normal glyphs, such as em dashes and en dashes, registered trademark symbols and glyphs that do not appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).

Once a Glyph has reached the level 15 it can be upgraded using the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrading a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.

Once a Glyph has been leveled up to the desired level you can activate it by selecting it, then clicking the "enchant" button. The Glyph that is created will grant its stated benefit, and will also boost all other nodes in its range on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be placed where they will benefit your build the most. This is why you should consider Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Some glyphs, however, may offer dual bonuses if certain conditions are satisfied, so they're worth looking out for.

If you're having trouble finding a specific glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to display the panel in a variety of views. Each of these views shows the Glyphs in a different font. You can reduce the number of glyphs by choosing an option under "Entire Font". For example, punctuation only displays punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols restricts the selection to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling involves establishing a new account in order to increase your chances of getting a character or weapon you'd like. It can help you level up faster or to get more loot, for example, an improved weapon for your current character. A lot of players will repeat the roll until the character they wish to play is available, regardless of strength. This could be because they like the character's style or personality.

It is important to make clean changes every time you roll back. You should verify locally if the patch passes pre-commit and run a core dev check. It is also recommended to upload the patch to an issue with an unmodified diff (see What about an interdiff? ).

Rerolls can take days or weeks to complete, based on your luck. To save time, avoid enemy camps that are optional during this period. You should also avoid re-doing quests that you can complete later on in the game. This will save you time and energy.

Upgrades make a set item better than before. This means that armor and weapons will have a higher defense value and lower requirements for strength.

Upgrading is an excellent way to bring popular single-set items to parity with their higher-tier set counterparts. Upgrades such as Guillaume's Face Helm to an Elite Spired helmet will increase the defense from 217 to 321 and decrease the strength and requirements for level to an feasible range.

It is important to keep in mind that not all items in the set can be upgraded. Some sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's shield or Naj's puzzlers are exceptional in their own right and don't require upgrading. On the other hand, some items that are BiS and are used frequently (like Goldwrap) may benefit by being upgraded to boost their stats even more. It could be worthwhile to upgrade these items.
