What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The item upgrader adds a brand new widget at the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. The Manager is priced at 33 billion Angel Investors and offers no gameplay benefit aside from making it easier to view and buy upgrades.

Boosts

With an upgrader for your item, you can get numerous bonuses. These could include stats, as well as extra bonuses. These bonuses can be utilized on armor, weapons, and trinkets. They can be used to improve the capabilities of the character, or can be used to add an aspect of variety to the build.

The amount of extras you can get with an upgrade depends on the amount of upgrades done. Each upgrade will boost the additional benefits by a factor of one, up to a maximum of three. In addition, each upgrade will also increase the main stat by 1.

In addition to the stat increase, some upgrades will also give a random secondary boost. These secondary boosts can be very valuable and should be taken into consideration when choosing which items to upgrade. Certain of these boosts may only be used in specific designs (such the Whistan's Shield, which is for FB Sorcs), while others are beneficial to collectors.

Some items have an inherent boo that is less beneficial when upgraded, for example the Goldwrap which gives additional slots for potion. These are usually upgraded to increase the value of a perfect or near-perfect item.

Costs

There are some costs related to upgrades of items. The first is the cost for the upgrade. This price is contingent on the new level of the item upgrades and the amount of perks it gains and is often expensive. Upgrades to higher levels (such as Explorer to Champion or Veteran to Heroic) can be costly.

The other is the cost of the materials required to upgrade. These items are typically Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons, or specific Mists Of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor Quests. These materials are available in the inventory of an Upgrade Vendor.

Upgrades to an item are an intricate process that takes time. Depending on the size of the upgrade, it can take as long as 8 hours. The upgraded item's base stats are calculated by using the item's new ilvl bonus, perks, as well as other properties. This calculation determines the new Armor Class bonus, damage dice, and other important stats. In some instances the upgrade can grant additional advantages that can be picked from a list of available advantages.

In rare instances, the upgrade will only replace the highest-costing bonuses. Occasionally, the upgrader will make other modifications to an item, for example, changing the damage type of a weapon or adding or removing an unwieldy or operative property. It is also possible to add a range of additional elements to the upgrade, which increases the chance of success. The materials are displayed in a window located above the + button. However, there are some limitations to this, and the maximum amount of material that can be added is shown just above the + button in the UI.

Another way to increase the chances of an upgrade succeeding is by using an item called Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item is helpful when you own an item of equipment that is at the highest level for its tier or is close to it. This item will allow you upgrade the equipment to the next level without risking its breaking.

If an upgrade is unsuccessful the system will be returned to its initial state. This is typically a downgrade, but could also be an upgrade. It is a good idea to save an upgrade for when you're near the highest level of an item, and to use it as an emergency.

You can increase your chances of success by enhancing your equipment several times using HD Oridecon and HD Elunium. The rate of success will be enhanced if you boost your chances of receiving a Double Mint by Shoe-Minting five times.

Failure Rate

The item upgrader allows players to add an additional card slot to their equipment. These slots can be used to apply an enhancement or enchantment to an item upgrades. It is important to keep in mind that not all items are upgradeable. The enchantment and upgrade rate depends on the Best item upgrade's rank.
