World of Warcraft Upgrades and item level upgrade Upgrading

Upgrades increase the value of certain numeric stats on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades also boost bonuses like Crit chance and damage from PvE.

If the weapon's upgrade template ends in %, it will increase an additional 3% of the previous damage for each time it is upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases as the item upgrader mod's level increases.

Components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into weapons, armor and trinkets to provide them with a boost in stats or add a bonus effect. They can be acquired through crafting, buying from vendors, trading or looting. Some upgrades have special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can only be used on devices that have slots. The item must be at least upgraded to blue level before the component can be applied. In contrast to other mods components can only be used once; they cannot be applied repeatedly or replaced with upgrades. Infusions and Enrichments are a type of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or ascending equipment, as as some non-ascended items. Infusions and enrichments can be retrieved by salvaging gear from the ascended, or completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

A suffix or prefix can be added to an upgrade, thereby changing the name of the item it's applied to (for example 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' is changed to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity, which allows players to create stronger versions of that equipment with fewer Upgrade Crystals than would be required to reach the same upgrade level through normal methods.

A boost upgrade can alter the attack or defence attributes of an armored weapon or. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated Crazed Mechanist the upgrades can be made at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades can be obtained by purchasing them in the cash shop or by getting them from enemies while upgrading other equipment.

Each upgrade increases the chance that a higher tier version of the item will be available in the next reset. This gives players a reason to upgrade their gear, even if they are unsure what will be improved after an update.

The process of upgrading an item can be expensive and it is likely that the item will eventually become obsolete or even break in the event that the upgrade fails. Upgrade Crystals and assist powders are also destroyed when an upgrade fails. Cash shop items can be used to decrease or eliminate the possibility of failure. Some upgrades also give an additional bonus when reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to improve the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs can boost the performance of nodes within a radius, which includes any existing affixes. Glyphs are upgraded in many ways. We suggest upgrading them as soon as possible up to 15 levels.

In the endgame, you will often find that the most effective way to upgrade your equipment is to use Glyphs. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded straight to level 15 and provide a large boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to reach higher nodes faster.

Glyphs, the sole upgrade component that can be removed without restriction and then replaced with no restrictions are the most commonly used. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires an Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and replace.

Each Glyph has a certain range of values it can improve a stat by, and the value is shown when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can decide to replace it with another Glyph with the same rank, or a higher rank, which will increase the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of a Gem Store bundle or purchase, with certain unlimited-use tools as well as during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt has the chance of dropping one of the various Glyphs and there are some rare Glyphs that can be found as drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.

Once you have gotten the desired Glyphs you will require them to be placed on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that will boost a particular set of stat nodes within a radius around the Glyph. This will either be +40 for one of your primary stats or +25 for two of your secondary stats depending on the Glyph.

The use of the Glyph will boost all nodes connected to it, and you should try to place your Glyphs near key nodes on the Graph to maximise the impact. For instance that a Druid should try to place their Glyphs near their primary damage points, however, you may also want to consider placing them near critical damage nodes as well.

Leveling

The upgrade system of items allows players to increase the stats of specific items by adding upgraded components. This is referred to as "upping". Every upgradeable item has an amount that determines its upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum of 385 ilvl. Each level of an item requires different components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained from finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table, or purchased from some NPCs. Each completed Upgrade Recipe yields several Technology Points. These points can be used for the upgrading of an Best item upgrade. Once enough points are earned you will be able to claim your upgrade and get its extra bonuses.

When an item is upgraded by a player to a higher level, the original item is replaced with a different item of the same kind. The same armor can be transformed into an weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item also has its own bonus. This could be a drawback in that the item could increase in price even if you don't require it.

Item upgrades can sometimes be rerolled, provided that the player has enough tokens to be able to do so. This will cause the Best item upgrader to be traded for a new one, which will have the level 1 base, and a different set of bonuses. This is useful for certain items, however it shouldn't be repeated often, as it can waste a lot of resources.

Certain upgrades can boost their value and allow players to personalize their gear. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, since it grants buffs when the player is repeatedly in or exits water. This can be upgraded several times, each time raising the max roll by an increment of 10. This item is very important in PvP. A properly rolled version could be worth up to 50x the value of its non-upgraded version.

Requirements

The item upgrader allows players to raise the level of their equippable equipment (armor weapons, armor, and trinkets) beyond ilvl385 by handing over the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces increase its base defense and upgrades to weapon items increase the damage they deal as well as the required strength and dexterity.

All items can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception of hero gear, which can have eight upgrades. Every time you upgrade a piece of equipment, it is at risk of failing. The probability of failure increases when you exceed the maximum number. Failures will cause the item upgrade to revert back to its original state, requiring the player to spend more money on materials than they would have to had they stopped upgrading at the highest number of upgrades.

If an item is not upgraded the experience bar in the bar for growth will be reset to zero. Additionally, the item will lose any bonus it earned such as crit chance, attack damage, and all additional effects associated with the effect (for example, increased heal over time or reload speed). However, the player may continue to use the weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that, when a weapon gains an increase in its crit chance the increase is applied before any increase in attack damage. Slots is a brand new attribute that was added to the definitions of items. The value is recalculated each time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is determined on the rarity rating and number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading equipment that is not premium is equal to its value. For example an item that is commonplace could have five upgrades at a cost of. 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items will have a much lower cost for each additional upgrade.

Premium items have different requirements for upgrading as compared to standard equipment, for instance, they may require fewer sowels but more minerals and erons. Regardless, the player will have to visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. Each upgrade to equipment will require different amounts of ingredients for upgrading, in addition to the costs that are listed above.
