What is a bedside crib?

Anna discovered that the CoZee could provide a safe, comfortable place to sleep for her baby. The Iora is a bassinet for infants designed to make parents feel closer to their infant while they sleep. The Iora is a smaller bedside crib with changing table crib that folds flat. It also comes with a travel case which allows it to be taken anywhere. It was easy to move from room to room, and our mum testers felt it was the right size for a bedside crib. The large storage basket is ideal for storing extra bedding or nappies.

This is a great option for parents who wish to sleep together, but don't wish to share their bed. Or if one of the parents has mobility issues such as back pain or arthritis. Our mom testers are thrilled with the convenience of being able to access their child in the Iora, and it also has an option to tilt the bed upwards to help alleviate gas.

Our moms also love the fact that it meets NICE guidelines that state to put the infant in a crib or Moses basket on its own (with no toys, blankets pillows, etc.). They also claim that the mattress is firm and comfortable for baby and is easy to find sheets for. It isn't as light as other cribs that are smaller, though, so if you want something lighter and easier to move around with, think about one of the alternatives on our list.
